Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the combination of the name of a beloved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. His Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length project, Owl Pharaoh, and was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. The following year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. His track, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three songs at number one in less than one year in 2020.
